We at Surveying Cymru are now offering a Biocide and Thermal Dry Paint service to help combat damp and mould in homes across the UK.
How this service and these products can benefit you:
Before the Thermal Dry paint is applied we will apply a biocide solution to the walls.
The Biocide treatment is a wash and sterilisation treatment to remove and kill mould spores and surface growths on painted or papered surfaces. The two part system we use provides full mould control for up to 5 years, even under severe condensation conditions. This can be extended considerably where moisture control measures are implemented, such as ventilation, insulation and heating control.
The Thermal dry paint then incorporates Micro-Technology in the form of hollow glass beads, with a size of 50 um and a crush strength of 500 psi. The micro, hollow glass beads act like miniature ‘Thermos Flasks’, blocking thermal energy by reflecting it away from the wall and protecting the walls from damp, which causes moisture and therefore mould growth.
